State government updated minimum wages- Maharashtra from 01st Jul’23 by revision in Variable Dearness Allowances in minimum wages for different categories of employees employed in the scheduled employments through notification having number- No. 2023(1)/10 dated 01.08.23.
In Maharashtra, payment of HRA is mandatory at the rate of 5% of minimum wages as per The Maharashtra Workmen’s Minimum House Rent Allowance Act,1983.
